WHAT IS PROBATION?

What is Probation?
Probation is a criminal law institution that makes it possible to carry out a person’s punishment in public life during the trial period established by the legislator, giving him the opportunity to do so. The person who has committed a crime is observed through probation in public life thanks to this institution. The probation law is a law that was issued with the aim of maintaining one’s ties with one’s social life, family and adapting to the outside world. A convicted person is released after a certain period of conditional release while serving his sentence in prison and is kept under supervision outside in public life.

The practice of probation can be caused by many different reasons. For example, probation for drug use is a measure that is applied before the verdict is given on the person being tried. It is an institution that has found many applications such as this and so on.

Probation Act

The law, known as the probation act, actually refers to the regulations introduced by Article 105/A of the Penitentiary Code No. 5275.This law is known as the Probation law. The reason why this law is called the probation law is that the convicted person who has committed many crimes has been released from prison by an addition to the Penitentiary Code No. 5275.
