The liability of the Assurance Account is limited to the collateral limits set by the Undersecretariat of Treasury on the date of the accident. This coverage limit is not paid in all cases. First of all, the amount of compensation that the right holders can claim is determined by taking into account the defects of the parties. This determined compensation is paid provided that it remains within the scope of the coverage limits.
